I’ve played through all of the songs, and am very much enjoying the pieces! The arrangements are beautiful!
I have been listening to David's music for a number of years now, and have so far bought 10 of his albums containing his piano music. I bought them mainly for the gentler pieces, as that is my personal preference. David's music is some of the most beautiful music I have ever heard. Very highly recommended.

My piano teacher introduced me to David Hicken. I started with his The Bell Carol, since it was around Christmas time. SUCH a cool adaptation of Carol of the Bells. I loved learning that. A little while after that I took a break from playing piano because I got busy but recently I've been wanting to get back into it but I needed a piece that would motivate me, I piece that I really wanted to learn so I wouldn't quit again. I remembered David Hicken and listened to a few of his songs (all are amazing btw) but I came across this one and HAD to learn it. It reminds me of an epic fantastical movie theme but like 10× better. It's a super fast piece but most of the left hand is almost the identical rhythm and fingers as it is in The Bell Carol, which helped me out a lot. I'm still in the midst of learning it and I suspect it will take a while, but I love it so much. Let this be your sign to listen to/play more of David Hicken!!!!!

This is amazing! This is the best deal! The Complete David Hicken Collection is better than the purchasing the sheet music, audio, and instructions individually. Great value! Great work! I'm learning the Incantation piece right now and am reading his instructions on improving piano playing better! David's music style is my favorite. I also like Dark Academia-esque pieces, but David brings a much more energetic, timeless, and brilliant manner of piano! The BEST!!!
I’ve listened to this on a google ‘easy listening’ search, and this piece is played often. I am always so intrigued with this, so much so, that I had to look it up. When I found I could download a copy, I was so happy. I need this at 76 years old to keep my brain active…it is just so intriguing and haunting, that I cannot stop playing it! I’ve played piano since age 5, and always been addicted to Bach, Beethoven, and Schubert. Thank you for making this available, and for being a super composer.

I`m always searching notes for the organ. The melody has a good following tone sequence - and it`s not to difficult to play. That´s the reason I bought it. Thank´s for the music!!!
David is a superior composer and keyboard musician. I have learned so much from him in playing his sheet music and more so from the books he has written, which are included: (1) music theory, (2) better piano playing, (3) sight reading, (4) making a living as a composer and pianist, (5) composing and improvising, and (6) piano workout. Not only do I appreciate getting a copy of all his sheet music, there are recordings of him playing nearly all of his compositions. I love playing his audio files as I play from the sheet music. This has helped me with voicing like no other technique. This is my third purchase of this. I have my copy, and I've purchased copies for two of my friends. He should charge more. It's a huge file and will take time to download. Thank you, David!

One of its voices is an earthy, embracing warmth, carried by a powerful, vibrating sound that drew me in immediately, goosebumps included. This organ has quite a presence, a personality — and David Hicken brings that personality fully to life.

I began purchasing David's music several years ago starting with Carol of The Bells. I shortly became addicted to David's music. His style compliments my style of music. My left hand has improve significantly since I started with his music. The Music is fun, challenging and a pleasure to play. I recently took advantage of his Complete Collection offer and look forward to many more hours of playing his music. I would encourage anyone to try out some of his music! This beautifully flowing, upward-striving melody seems to transport the player and listener to a place where the earth touches the sky -as if the etherial sound would remind us that light will triumph over darkness. The piece feels natural under the fingers and is not too difficult to learn. I highly recommend it.
Your music is so motivating. I plan to play every piece from all the albums I ordered Complete and I'm 86 years old. Have taught piano a long time and still have a few students. How do you find names for your compositions? Name first, then music inspiration or the other way around?. Mastering Camille will take me a while. One student plays The Bell Carol 2.0 and Mendecium.
