I never gave a lot of thought about this tune before but when I heard you playing Jurassic Park, I really enjoyed it very much. It also made me recall many years ago when I took my wife and kids to see the movie. Those were good memories that this music brings to me.

This piece is magnifisant! This was love from the first moment when I saw the notes and I started to play! You are an amasing musician! Thank's to God that I met you and your music!

This is one of the most brillant piano transcriptions of what is possibly Bach's best know organ work. While challenging to play, it captures the real essence of Bach's work and stirs one's musical passion unlike other transcriptions. David Hicken has shown the "piano world" something quite new and amazingly creative while retaining the soul of Bach's work.

It‘s a nice piece! I am going to iclude this piece of music in my concert program.

Our 10 year son found David Hicken on The Tube and has started playing some amazing songs from David. Thank you for sharing your music, it rings through our house daily.

Even though David Hicken has been composing and being an inidmatic creative since early on....I only discovered his compositions a few weeks ago. I am thrilled . I am a.professional.lianist and teacher living in the North or Ireland . This year I have to give a little recital to the music college I teach at and I'm so happy to consider a few of David's works like the exciting 'Camille' and .maybe a couple of his energetic ' Incantations.' Thankyou for the discovery and inspiration !

Amor Matris is a brilliant tribute woven in notes. David Hicken’s artistry shines through every note — tender, evocative, and deeply moving. I commissioned this piece in memory of my Mom, and David captured her essence with sublime grace. Slow for me to learn and play (I only hope I will give it the justice it deserves), its emotional depth speaks directly to the heart. With Amor Matris, David gave my memories a voice — and for that, I will always be grateful. His music is an awe-inspiring fusion of poetic emotion, visionary imagination, and masterful craftsmanship. Each composition feels both deeply personal and exquisitely composed, and Amor Matris is no exception — indeed, it is a shining example.

This music would correspond nicely to a movie with a setting in the British countryside of the 19th century - really beautiful!
... and not difficult to play (apart from some tiny flat signs ;)) - but you'll get used to them quickly!)

I am fascinated by the rhitmic technique of the song and in particular by the left hand. Congratulation. I really appreciate this song.
