Gemini

As a piano teacher I played Gemini a lot with my advanced pupils. It's a challenging piece and you have to practice very seriously to be able to play it, but it is so satisfying and the pleasure you get is so intense that it's really worth it. My co-pianist and I wish very deeply that another David Hicken's Duet will be composed ! It would be just great and thrilling !

My sister and I have absolutely loved learning this beautiful duet! The music is very well formatted and easy to read—whether it’s on paper or on a tablet. The composition itself is unparalleled, and reminds me of Bach’s harpsichord concerto in D minor. What pure joy to belt out this duet on a grand piano! It almost feels like racing with a friend up a hillside so you can catch the sunrise view.
Being a Gemini, the name 1st caught my attention. The song starts right off bouncing along.
It's the kind of light melody that sticks in the mind. But it gets more and more complex as it goes on.
For me, that makes it a lot of fun.
