Lakshmi

Lakshmi is one of those great piano pieces by David Hicken that is doable for any hobby pianist and excellent to listen to. I also like the details, e.g. the title on each page which helps me to find the right sheets in my book. Small improvement for me would be to have finger numbers at some notes where it is not obvious how to use the keys. Started with the free piece in the DavidHicken App which is also great, but I still prefer printed sheets by far, so I bought it from here.

I discovered Lakshmi while listening to an online relaxing piano radio station and immediately fell in love with it. Then I found a YT video of David playing the piece and started to learn it that way (without sheet music). I could grasp around 90% of the notes, since some camera angles were not showing David's hands :)
6 or so months later I purchased the sheet music and filled in the gaps with my piano teacher. I adore this piece and am playing it at least 1x week to my wife and to my mom, they both say that it is calming and joyful.

This piano piece is really soothing and a joy to play. The fact that it was a free offering from David was a great bonus thank you, My only problem was I was too hasty in downloading it onto my iPhone so hadn’t read the advice - but was given a second go when I emailed through his website 👍
