Canon In D Meets Ode To Joy

I love everything about this piece!

Love how it keeps moving and flows easily from one to the other. Can't wait to perform it in church!

I've really loved this version...it was a fun combination of these two common songs, but it is also a beautful song of it's own.

Canon In D Meets Ode To Joy

A perfect blend of two brilliant compositions to which David has added a beautiful harmony that lifts the spirit. And after practice, even an intermediate pianist can more or less master it, so this piece will enrich us in many different ways.

everybody know the songs. but this transcrption is seacial

I already enjoyed this piece while listening. Now reading the sheet I can see that there are even cross-overs that I didn't get.

Playing it will cost me a while as this piece is not the easiest one. But I hope that I will be able to succeed as it gives a lot of people a smile on their face.

A very thoughtful arrangement done by a person who truly understands pianists! It is a joy to play!

Interesting combination and works well. Still learning it.

Love how these two songs blend together nicely

Thoroughly enjoyed practicing this delightful blend of two evergreen classics. Colourful and captivating variations will keep listeners mesmerised. Thanks to David for putting together this elegant and enjoyable arrangement.

Love it!

This piece is perfect. It weaves the two pieces together in a very sophisticated (not cheesy like combination pieces can sometimes be!) and beautiful way. It is not too difficult, and so is a great piece to be able to learn and play during a single holiday season :)
Highly recommend!

I’m really enjoying this arrangement because you’ve given the left hand more attention than most arrangers do. I’ve discovered this in most of your arrangements, you’ve composed intricate patterns, and in others, you avoid repetitive sequences that I’m commonly used to seeing in the left hand. This arrangement is innovative, refreshing, and enjoyable. Thank you for sharing it and for publishing You Tube videos, so I can watch and listen to your interpretation of it as the composer. I look forward to discovering more of your compositions in the future!

I shared this with a bride hoping she would choose for her processional…she did!
