Absolution (for Piano)

I have purchased several of David Hicken's pieces. Absolution for the organ is probably my favorite David Hicken composition. I opted to purchase the piano version and I am quite pleased. I am lucky that I play on a Yamaha Clavinova and I can split voices for treble and base lines so I can make the piece sound similar to the organ version. Even playing on the piano the piece is great and fun to play. I highly recommend this piece.

'Absolution' is really exciting! I felt like I had gone back in time, interacting with the European classical music great composers.

Absolution is the perfect music to feel good. When the tune starts you get drawn to it and it's a great feeling when a song gives you the desire to sing along. I really appreciate that and this joyful piece was composed to be played. A pleasure to hear a pleasure to play ? It's fulfillment for a pianist.

Absolution (for Piano) is another great piece from David Hicken.

However, the piano version cannot compete with the fabulous organ version because a piano cannot provide such an orchestral sound.
