The Star Spangled Banner - My Country 'Tis Of Thee

As always, David's arrangements are unique, fun to play and useful in many different settings. I am a long time fan and am constantly coming back to many of the older pieces just to reminisce .

The chord progressions are very unique… and absolutely gorgeous!

I did not have time to prepare in advance an Independence Day special for church as I had originally planned. I found this arrangement on Thursday night, and had to play Sunday morning; I just played the beginning Star Spangled Banner movement- which can 100% stand on its own as a solo.
I played through measure 35… continuing the broken chord for another measure, and ended with some notes of the chord w/ and octave in the left hand.

One of the best Star Spangled Banner piano solo arrangements I have ever heard… (even if it was arranged by a British guy LOL 😉)

This is an awesome arrangement. The way the two songs are combined in the last part of this song is brilliant. I highly recommend this piece.
