Where to Start with My Music

Where to Start with My Music

If you’re new here, welcome.

Over the years, I’ve written quite a large collection of music, and I’m often asked where the best place is to begin. With so many pieces available, it can feel a little overwhelming at first, so I thought it might be helpful to offer a simple starting point.

If you enjoy listening, one of the easiest ways to explore my music is through the albums. They are listed in order, with the most recent at the top, so you can either begin with my latest work or scroll down and start from the beginning to hear how the music has developed over time. Each album reflects a particular stage in my journey, and together they form a kind of musical timeline.

I also have a dedicated page where all of my videos are organised by album, which makes it easy to explore the music in a more visual and structured way.

For pianists, a good place to begin is with some of the earlier collections. Goddess, Angels and Faeries contains some of the most approachable pieces I’ve written, and many people find it a comfortable and enjoyable entry point. From there, you can gradually explore the later works, which tend to become more expansive and demanding.

If you’re interested in my organ music, you’ll find a growing collection of original works written specifically for the instrument. This is where my current focus lies, and it’s the direction I’ll be continuing to develop moving forward.

I’ve also created a number of arrangements, which offer a slightly different perspective on familiar material, as well as a range of audio downloads if you simply prefer to listen rather than play.

If you would like to explore everything in one place, I’ve put together a complete collection that brings all of my music together. Some people prefer to browse individual pieces, while others enjoy having the full library available to explore at their own pace.

However you choose to begin, the most important thing is simply to find something that resonates with you.

Thank you for being here.

Thank you David, thank you for being there — on the other side of the screen and the world — creating and sharing the music that makes us dream and brings us here, again and again.
