I’ve played through all of the songs, and am very much enjoying the pieces! The arrangements are beautiful!

A great selection of festive tunes with expert arrangements. Extremely challenging on occasion, but very accessible.

Fun to play! However, it would be nice in future publications to include more courtesy accidentals, if possible. I just add them in by hand, but it would be a big time saver to have more of the accidentals written in.

The music is absolutely beautiful. Some pieces I am able to play, some not. But with practice, maybe one day I can accomplish the ones David
executes so effortlessly. I enjoy watching his fingers roll across the keys.

David creates interesting variations on well known carols. Many are relatively easy to play.
Hopefully I will be ready to perform them by next Christmas.

I love this collection! As with others, the songs are of various difficulties, you will certainly find something within your reach. I'm starting with Silent Night, a wonderful arrangement. Highly recommended, for a Christmas full of wonderful music.

I was looking for a music sheet for my daughter and came across with David Hicken arrangement and I am so expressed. I decided to buy it and so happy with the purchase. My daughter is enjoying it. David’s arrangement are beautiful. I download it on iTunes too so we could listen it in the car.

A lovely collection of pieces. Perfect for church prelude or entertaining your friends at a Christmas party. Being able to preview them played live is great and helps in selection and performance.

I bought this music for my brother, and he really enjoys it. However, I was hoping there was a printed copy of the book and not just the pdf. Is that an available option?

I have not tried all of the pieces in this book, but Away in a Manger and The First Noel are beautiful. They are for a fairly advanced piano player. Highly recommend!

Carols Of Christmas Book

I was so happy to find this. The arrangements are easy enough to sight read and within a few playings actually have a lovely sounding piece for Christmas! Well, all except the Carol of the Bells, which is brilliant but may take a few more than a few playings to accomplish... but, well worth it!!
Its a great book of very festive and nostalgic songs.
Christmas in Tettenhall is one of my very favorites. You will enjoy this!!

Music is so beautiful and festive. It’s perfect!!

I am very pleased with my purchase. I consider myself an intermediate player and the arrangements were possible to learn with practice. It is especially helpful to hear David Higgins play them. I volunteer to play the piano and the David Higgins songs are frequently requested. I am planning my next purchase.

These arrengements are incredibly good and touching. Silent Night is amazing.

As a lesson instructor, I am always looking for new arrangements of Christmas music to challenge my more advanced students. These beautiful arrangements meet that criteria and are sure to please the family that listens to them practice as well. I may use them as Christmas Concert material at some point. I also admit to enjoying them for my own playing as well!

I really love this piano book. I liked being able to sample the songs before buying it so I could make sure they were a good level, and the arrangements are a good mix of traditional melodies while adding additional aspects/melodies to keep each piece interesting. I didn't have any issues with the PDF download and it works great for playing off my tablet, although I might print it in the future too.

This book for Christmas piano solos is fantastic and is great for more advanced pianists looking for a doable challenge. I played The Bell Carol and it was a great combination of fast rhythm with familiar tune.
