Epic piece. Beautifully composed. Will chip away at it (it will take a while), but I‘m motivated.

I'm play classical music pretty exclusively and don't normally do covers but this one caught my attention. Very playable and faithful to the soundtrack. Thanks and well done David!

Really enjoying the book. I am relatively new to piano but am eager to learn. Starting late in life in my 50's, but always wanted to learn. I have a good teacher (1 hour a week) and wanted to supplement my lessons with reading looking for additional helpful tips to pick up and add in. She also likes the idea.

David is very enthusiastic about his craft, and I am appreciative. Music history, theory, practice and playing, etc. No short cuts. He attributes much his success to practice and scales. Currently, reading The Little Bach Book too.

This review of David Hicken is magnificent, the chords are so deep, and it transcent the melody, giving the powerfull mind and the dramatic and heroic life of Maximus Decimus Meridius General of the Phoenix Legion !!

I checked other versions in many websites, and there is no comparision on the emotion, the dynamics and precision of David's version. amazing job!

I am learning this piecec and I was very pleased to hear a different arrangement.

The Gladiator soundtrack is one of my all time favorite pieces, something I’ve always wanted to play on the piano. When I saw David’s rendition on YT for the first time, I fell in love. I’ve started practicing his piece this week and it’s been giving me such joy. I can’t wait to memorize it all and play it wherever I see a piano!

Not too hard to learn, but to play it accurately and make it sound great, much more effort is needed.
I like this piano-version much better than the original from the film.
