初めて、デビット・ヒッケン様の音楽に触れたのは、先月YouTubeにてオルガン音楽を探している時、偶然表示され、その音楽が『インカンテーション』でした。
気が付いた時にはクリックしてまして、
その旋律が私にとって、とても斬新で新鮮に感じました。
何度も聞いているうち、ぜひCDを購入したいと思いたち、ウエブサイトへたどり着きました。オルガン曲集がある事を知り、今回の購入に至りました。インカンテーションの楽譜も興味があったので合わせて購入しましたが、殆どの音符が8分音符と16分音符で成り立っているのにとても驚きました。
他の曲では『償い』と『赦免』が私の好みでしたが、このアルバムは私にとって忘れられないオルガン音楽集となりました。
とても長い文章になってしまいましたが、

また、次回改めて、別のアルバムをも購入したいと考えています。

I liked the melody when I watched a video and the purchase/download was completed within seconds. Learning to play the organ music from the beginning was enjoyable. It keeps your hands and feet moving.

I discovered Lakshmi while listening to an online relaxing piano radio station and immediately fell in love with it. Then I found a YT video of David playing the piece and started to learn it that way (without sheet music). I could grasp around 90% of the notes, since some camera angles were not showing David's hands :)
6 or so months later I purchased the sheet music and filled in the gaps with my piano teacher. I adore this piece and am playing it at least 1x week to my wife and to my mom, they both say that it is calming and joyful.
