Bach - Concerto in D minor

  • Product Description

This harpsichord concerto is one of a set of eight which Bach wrote, and autographed in 1738.  This D minor concerto could possibly have been based on a violin concerto which is now lost, and the earliest surviving manuscript was written out by Bach's son Carl Phillip Emmanuel.  This newly engraved edition is 20 pages long and adheres to manuscript copies from the 18th and 19th centuries.
